By coincidence, Pat and Patachon are cast for the lead roles in a major film production. It quickly turns out that the odd couple doesn't fit in to just any plot, and especially Patachon's helpless attempts to play prince charming are testing the director's patience.

Pat and Patachon live in the attic of an old house along with a number of other curious kinds of people. One of the residents is a fortune teller, who tells Patachon that he will inherit a fortune and marry one of the two sweet choir girls who live next door, and whom he happens to be in love with. The two friends don’t think much more of it and instead head off to work, as models for a tailor.

She is seen crawling on windmills and church towers, balancing barefoot on sharp spears and parachuting out of an airplane. The film was undoubtedly compiled to to show the skill and courage of Emilie Sannom, which gave her the nick-name 'Daredevil of the movies'.

However, the two vagabonds quickly vacate the premises to let the young couple stay there.
