Nokke and Jørgensen are tram railgrinders and good friends. Jørgensen drinks too much, while Nokke in vain urges his friend to give up the bottle. When Jørgensen ends up in hospital, Nokke shows up to talk some sense into his sick friend.

FRAGMENT | The ageing Miss Tillesen runs a boarding house, but her temper will soon run it to the ground. Tillesen’s young niece, Anna, decides to attract new boarders with a pretentious advertisement. Soon enough there’s bite from four would-be gentlemen, all of whom confuse Anna to be the boarding house’s landlady.

Frede chooses to travel away, and he doesn’t see Edith until many years later, when she comes on an unannounced visit.

Together with his friends, Jean devises a cunning plan that involves a start-up corporation and an older, unmarried baroness.

FRAGMENT | Tønne secretly visits a posh lady for dance lessons, which his wife mistakes for infidelity. All attempts to convince his missus that the visits are just about dancing seem to fall on deaf ears. Perhaps not too strange, as it turns out that Tønne has learnt almost nothing from his lessons.

For 14 years, merchant Thippe has been paying child support to his dear son, although he has never seen the boy. For the sake of the family legacy, and economic certainty, Thippe decides to meet his offspring. However, something is not quite right.

A typo in the newspaper sends a frisky model to treat the ill professor Knolle and a strict nurse to the croquis-artist Klat. While the supple model is about to undress in front of the embarrassed professor, the dumbfounded nurse wonders if the groping croquis-artist is actually a psychiatric patient.

The film has German intertitles with Danish subtitles.

Mr Basse – a cheerful, if somewhat lazy fellow – reluctantly shows up at the employment agency. It soon transpires that he is no good at selling newspapers. Dejected, he is on his way home when he happens to pass by a construction site just as the bricklayers are going on strike.

Three bachelors vow to ban women from their fraternity – and immediately break their promise when Nelly needs help. Nelly’s father, the champion boxer Bømann, doesn’t approve of her engagement to her boyfriend Tobby. She runs away from home in protest and seeks refuge with the three bachelors.

FRAGMENT | The titular villain is an infamous international criminal, Mrs Valentin Kempel, known as “The Predator Spider” due to her habit of ensnaring innocent victims in her web. Men are enchanted by her, and she uses this to coerce them into taking part in her criminal activities. When one of her victims takes his own life, the victim’s brother and a detective decide to put an end to the beautiful criminal’s reign of terror.
