The Ballet Dancer

Ballet dancer Camille dreams of becoming an actress. Her wish comes true when she meets the young screenwriter Jean. Soon, her career is well underway, and Camille’s name is on everyone's lips. She even wins her mentor’s heart. However, Jean turns out to have multiple involvements, and so a fatal game of entanglements takes its beginning.

This is new version of the film that has been released ealier in a worn down copy. 'The Ballet Dancer' is the third and last film Asta Nielsen made in Denmark before continuing her career in Germany. It is also the only film she made with director August Blom.

The film has English subtitles and music by Ronen Thalmay.
